The lightning flickered amongst the clouds in intricate patterns, tethering them together like desperate stitches keeping the sky closed. And God forbid the binding break, for if it did, it would unleash a fulmination of all the prisoners of the sky.

The birds, or beasts, that fly without pity and harbinger the end of times.
